Delta announces service addition

Delta Air Lines announced it will begin year-round nonstop service to Hartford, CT starting June 5, 2014 from Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE). Hartford is one of the 39 routes being exited by United Airlines.
"We are very pleased that Delta Air Lines continues to see opportunity in Cleveland by adding new nonstop service to Raleigh-Durham, Indianapolis and now Hartford, all three markets were previously dropped by United," said Airport Director Ricky Smith.
The daily flight departs CLE at 6:50PM, arriving in Hartford at 8:45PM. The return flight departs Hartford at 7:00AM arriving in CLE at 8:50AM. The new nonstop service will operate to Bradley International Airport (BDL) located 14 miles from Hartford. This new flight will be operated with CR7 equipment by Delta Connection Carrier.
On February 17, 2014, Delta Airlines announced they are adding new nonstop service from Cleveland to Raleigh-Durham and Indianapolis.
"We are very pleased that Delta, one of our long time airline partners has decided to add service to two additional markets from CLE, Raleigh-Durham and Indianapolis that were both dropped in United's service reductions," said Airport Director Ricky Smith.
Both routes will begin June 5, 2014.
