February Passenger Numbers Down at Cleveland Hopkins
March 19, 2025
Press Releases
Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) welcomed 668,388 passengers in February, down 3.6 percent over February of last year.
Two factors affecting the decline: February 2024 had an extra day due to Leap Year and Spring Break began in February last year versus March this year.
In February 2025, total airline scheduled seats increased by less than 1 percent whereas March 2025 scheduled seats are up 6.45 percent (nearly 70,000 seats) and April 2025 seats are up 4.5 percent (nearly 47,000 seats), reflecting the shift in the Spring Break and Easter travel periods this year.
Year-to-date, 1,348,346 passengers have traveled through CLE, a decline of just over 1 percent compared to the same period last year.
CLE is forecasting 10,400,000 passengers will use the Airport in 2025, a 3 percent increase over last year.
