New online feature launches ahead of busy Labor Day weekend
Cleveland, September 2nd, 2017 –Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) today announced a new online feature allowing passengers to know the availability of the airport’s parking areas before arrival. The announcement comes along with Labor Day weekend, one of the busiest travel holidays of the year. Passengers can access the airport’s website on their computer or mobile device.
“Cleveland Hopkins International Airport is creating new ways for visitors to have a better experience,” said Mayor Frank G. Jackson. “These website updates will provide a better experience for our customers who chose to travel to and from Cleveland.”
“Our aim is to make the CLE guest experience as stress-free as possible,” said Airport Director Robert Kennedy. “This is just one more airport feature to help airport visitors reduce the anxiety of travelling.”
To get a parking update, travelers will simply log on to the airport’s website www.clevelandairport.com and click “Parking Status” in the lower right-hand corner. The website is updated every 3 minutes with the latest parking status information. In a few weeks, the new system will also post parking updates to the airport’s Facebook and Twitter accounts.
The system, along with the previous installation of the checkpoint wait time and shuttle status systems this year, continue to build upon our goal of using technology to create a seamless guest experience at the airport.
The foundation of this new system was built in-house by the airport’s IT staff ensuring it is customized to CLE traveler’s needs. This is the latest in Cleveland Hopkins International Airport amenities to keep guests informed and help make their trip through Cleveland a breeze.
