Youth Call for Artists: THE LAND - Preserving Landscapes, Inspiring Futures

The Northeast Ohio region is surrounded by a magnificent network of parks and nature preserves, affectionately known as the “Emerald Necklace” – one of Cleveland’s most beautiful natural wonders. These landscapes and waterways are the jewels of the region, and conserving this invaluable resource is a shared commitment among all Clevelanders. 

An upcoming exhibit will proudly showcase area students’ artwork, including photography, paintings, and drawings, that celebrates our region’s natural beauty and sustainability efforts. This exhibit will highlight Northeast Ohio’s landscapes, lakefronts, flora, wildlife, and renewable energy sources such as wind, solar, and hydropower that make “The Land” such a treasure. 

This earth-themed art competition is divided into three age categories:
Group I: Age 6 – 10
Group II: Age 11 – 14
Group III: Age 15 – 18

All two-dimensional mediums are welcome, ranging from paintings and drawings to mixed media. Interested participants are encouraged to visit our website for submission guidelines and regulations.
