Events & Updates

WHO: Cleveland Airport System (CAS)

WHAT: World Autism Awareness Month – “Light It Up Blue”

WHEN: Monday, April 2, 2018 at 12 p.m.

WHERE: Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (RTA Level)

Join the Cleveland Airport System (CAS) and our Airport partners as we recognize World Autism Awareness month. Autism affects 1 in 68 children, of which 1 in 42 are boys. To increase understanding and bring awareness to those individuals living with autism, CAS will join in the “Light it Up Blue” movement by lighting up various locations within and surrounding the Airport campus in blue.

Additionally, our staff along with other employees of the airport community will dress in blue in support of this worthwhile cause. All employees will have an opportunity to take photographs of themselves individually and as a group dressed in BLUE and will gather for an official photograph in the Stephanie Tubbs Jones Gallery located on the RTA level on the date and time listed above.

A lunch & learn workshop is planned for Friday, April 20, 2018 at 12 p.m. A representative from Autism Speaks will conduct a workshop to discuss Autism and provide pertinent information to our employees.
