Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) recorded an 8.49% increase in passengers year-over-year for the month of April.
“It’s clear more people continue to choose CLE as their airport of choice, whether leaving to go on a vacation, or heading to Cleveland to see all that our great city has to offer,” said Airport Director Robert Kennedy. “We strive every day to earn the honor of serving our passengers.”
Last year CLE had 681,708 passengers in April. In April 2017, 739,563 passengers flew through CLE. Of those passengers, we experienced the highest number of O&D (origin & destination) passengers we’ve had in recent years, meaning more Clevelanders are using CLE.
Year-to-date as of April, CLE has had 2,649,970 passengers, a 2.87% increase over year-to-date last year in April.
