In April, Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) welcomed 852,582 guests, an 8.55 percent increase over the same month last year.

“After a strong spring break travel period, CLE is poised to maintain the high daily passenger volume throughout the summer travel period,” said Bryant L. Francis, C.M., Director of Port Control. “We are encouraged by our airline partners adding more seats and more destinations at CLE as Northeast Ohioans plan for their summer vacations, giving our guests more possibilities to meet their travel needs.”

Year-to-date, CLE passenger results are up 8 and a half percent compared to 2023 with 3,093,622 passengers and up nearly 3 percent compared to 2019, the last full year pre-pandemic.

Approximately 10,250,000 passengers are forecasted to fly CLE in calendar year 2024. For the first four months of the year, CLE is ahead of the forecast by 21,000 passengers.
