Allegiant moving operations from Akron/Canton to Cleveland, Doubling its presence in Northeast Ohio

CLEVELAND. Sept. 21, 2016 — Allegiant (NASDAQ: ALGT) today announces it is doubling its presence in northeast Ohio by moving its existing service from the Akron-Canton Airport (CAK) to Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE). In addition to the move, the company will offer area travelers four new nonstop routes to vacation destinations this winter. To celebrate this expansion in northeast Ohio, the company, known for its ultra-low fares, is offering one-way fares on the new routes for as low as $39.*
“We’re very excited to announce this major growth in northeast Ohio, a region that has demanded more low-cost, nonstop service to the wonderful vacation destinations we serve,” said Jude Bricker, Allegiant chief operating officer. “This move to Cleveland will allow Allegiant to have a stronger presence in northeast Ohio and allow us to offer our low fares and convenient travel to even more travelers.”

Service moving from Akron-Canton Airport (CAK) to Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) includes nonstop flights to:
- Tampa Bay via the St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport (PIE) - begins Feb. 15, 2017 with fares as low as $39*
- Orlando, Florida via the Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) – begins Feb. 16, 2017 with fares as low as $49*
- Fort Lauderdale, Florida via the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) – begins Feb. 16, 2017 with fares as low as $39*
- Punta Gorda / Fort Myers, Florida via the Punta Gorda Airport (PGD) – begins Feb. 16, 2017 with fares as low as $59*
- Savannah, Georgia via the Savannah / Hilton Head International Airport (SAV) – begins Feb. 16, 2017 with fares as low as $58*
- Myrtle Beach, South Carolina via the Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR) – seasonal service begins April 13, 2017 with fares as low as $58*
New service coming to Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) includes nonstop flights to:
- Jacksonville, Florida via the Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) - begins Feb. 16, 2017 with fares as low as $50**
- Austin, Texas via the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) - begins Feb. 17, 2017 with fares as low as $44**
- New Orleans via the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) - begins Feb. 17, 2017 with fares as low as $52*
- Phoenix via the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport (AZA) – seasonal service begins Feb. 17, 2017 and ends May 15, 2017 with fares as low as $64**
Flights will move from Akron-Canton Airport (CAK) to Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) on Feb. 15, 2017. Passengers with existing reservations on or after Feb. 15, 2017 from Akron-Canton Airport (CAK) can be re-accommodated from Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) or receive a full refund.
