Southwest to increase service at CLE

The airline announces plans to add 3 flights 

Cleveland, January 5th, 2017 – Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) has been notified that CLE will receive new service from Southwest Airlines. 

Southwest announced they will begin service to Atlanta (ATL) twice daily starting June 4th, 2017. They will also add a daily frequency to St. Louis, a route that has been highly successful for the airline since its launch in 2016. 

“We are pleased that Southwest has decided to expand their service here at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport,” said Interim Director Fred Szabo. “With this expansion Southwest will operate 21 daily flights from CLE to eight markets. We value their partnership and look forward to a bright future with Southwest Airlines.” 

Southwest will offer Northeast Ohio travelers nonstop service to Atlanta, Baltimore, Chicago Midway, Denver, Nashville, Las Vegas, Phoenix and St. Louis.
