WHY:

Mayor Frank G. Jackson will host Synergy 2009, an outreach event for small- and minority-owned Cleveland area businesses, to preview the many projects requested in the City’s Federal American Recovery Reinvestment Act (Stimulus Bill) Package.

“While these are proposed projects at this point, it’s important to get the ball rolling and begin preparing local minority businesses,” Mayor Jackson said.

WHAT:

  • Two forums designed to discuss potential stimulus projects with the City of Cleveland development and service departments as well as stimulus projects with other local agencies
  • Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with the participating City departments and local agencies 
  • Assistance with City procurement and certification processes

PARKING:

Parking will be available at the Cleveland Convention Center. Overflow
parking will be provided at Burke Lakefront Airport with FREE shuttle
service to and from the Cleveland Convention Center.
